What advice would you give to a below average student at a non target but is doing the CFA L1 and just doesn't know how to network.

I have an off cycle internship ex at a non BB (which was basically a waste of time, it was only a brokerage firm kind of shit and i only cold called HNIs who were just not interested bc the data I was given was 30 yrs old) I don't have the grades, always been a failure but 2022 is the year i actually became serious with my life and had a lot of harsh realisations that I know nothing. I really want to break into IB in the IBD roles.Long post but i really need some helpful advice as i have no family in finance and too many people have told me I can't do shit and am tired of being a disappointment.
P.S. I'm from India and looking for roles in India.
