What is the best way to attract Venture Capital?

I manage a portfolio of ultrapremium domain names that get direct navigation traffic and have search engine ranking advantages.

The portfolio was acquired in early 2000s.

Many of these domain names, with proper planning and execution, have a potential to be grown into global, household brands.

I was recently contacted by a venture capital firm, inquiring about investing in development of one of our domain names.

How can I attract venture capital for the other ultrapremium domain names from the portfolio?

My hunch is that you have better options than attracting venture investment. Depending on the domain names a more reasonable course of action would be to contact potentially interested parties that would be users of the domain names. Typically venture investors will get involved over something like this when a portfolio company wants a domain name but it's already taken. I have seen this where someone had the xxxxx.io domain name rather than the xxxxx.com domain name and asked for their venture backers to get involved as additional time leverage on behalf of the management team.

I'm a software in big tech looking to do something entrepreneurial. If you want to cut me in, happy to develop a tech startup based on one of those domains. DM if interested

You own real estate in an increasingly less attractive environment. Great startups exist with shitty domains - this isn't the early 2000s anymore. Sell your parking lots to the highest bidder actively seeking you out and move on

I respectfully disagree. Great startups usually upgrade their domain on a good funding round.
